FEBRUARY 9 ROMEO BREAKFAST MEETING

A very large and robust crowd greeted Jim Riticher, our District 2 City Councilman, at our JANUARY meeting at J. Christopher's. Jim brought us updates and insights relative to our great City Of Dunwoody. Of great importance was a straw vote taken for or against the extension of Olde Village Run to accommodate automobile traffic into the developing Heritage Of Dunwoody neighboring subdivision. THE VOTE WAS UNANIMOUSAGAINSTANY EXTENSION NOW OR EVER. Jim promised to convey this vote to the appropriate City Officials and hopefully they will honor our wishes.

At ourFEBRUARY 9THbreakfast meeting at J. Christopher's, we will have as our speaker our own ROMEO, Art Simon, who will enlighten us on the work, opportunities, and mission of The Dunwoody Community Garden located in Brook Run. Those of you who know Art well are aware of his passion and involvement in the Garden. This meeting should be another nice "change of pace". (Anyone remember our Victory Gardens in World War II?) Come one, come all!
